After use, wipe it with a soft sponge, lukewarm water, and a little soap. Dry it immediately with a towel. Do not soak it in water or put it in the dishwasher.

No. It's natural wood wipe it with a sponge and lukewarm water, then dry it right away. Don't soak it. Give it a minute of care and it'll last for years
